Absolutely loved it !
Got the printed copy via Kickstarter and it is a true work of art.
Great story (really looking forward to reading the next installment) with what seems a straightforward plot only for the twist to kick in.

You know the term "One Trick Pony"? Matt Garvey is the opposite of that...like a "Multiple Trick Horse" if you will. You see, I have been a fan of Matt's work since the early days with stuff like Chunks and Cordelia Swift. Despite having read most of his work, I don't think I can pin down a stereotypical Matt Garvey comic. He is always going to surprise you with something new. And as someone who has been reading comics for decades, I love a surprise.
I won't spoil the Skim. It doesn't go where I thought it would. If you like books like 100 Bullets or Criminal, I think it will be right up your alley.
I have to call out the art by Martin Hrastic. I wasn't familiar with his work before this, but I love how he framed the story. Everything is just a little too close, a little too intense, like the story is unfolding right in front of you.
Roll on issue 2 please.
As a long term backer/reader, this was a significant change of pace by Matt Garvey and no bad thingat that. This crime caper is based on a great idea, with a nice curve-ball to set up future installments. And really effective ilustrations by Martin Hrastić (I was also one of the lucky few Kickstarter backers to get a slabbed copy - Cheers Matt !). Looking forward to issue #2 to see how this unfolds (and what other twists Matt throws in).
Looking forward to part 2! Backed in Kickstarter and got lovely alt cover printed copy. Dare I say it, has a Brubaker & Phillips Criminal feel but very much its own take. If you’re a Criminal fan it’s a must buy. Be great to see what comes next from these creators!

I pledged on Kickstarter for the printed copy, but I'll say here, made the mistake of reading the pdf.... BUY A PRINTED COPY!
The artwork is truly glorious, and is not done justice on the pdf.
